We’re thrilled to announce that MileIQ is working with Xero to make it easier for people to handle their mileage. Whether you’re tracking your mileage for taxes or business, the MileIQ-Xero partnership greatly simplifies the reporting process.
MileIQ & Xero: Manage Your Mileage With Ease
Xero is a global small business platform, with more than 1.2 million subscribers in more than 180 countries. Xero is committed to using innovative technology to help business owners get real-time visibility of their financial position and performance in a way that’s simple, smart and secure.
This mission is very much in line with the MileIQ desire to make mundane administrative tasks hassle-free. MileIQ has already helped millions of people save valuable time in manual mileage logging, as well as more than $3 billion in potential mileage deductions and reimbursements.
There are three exciting announcements we’d like to share as part of this partnership:
- MileIQ for Xero Advisors
- MileIQ integration with Xero to enable independent contractors to accurately deduct their mileage on their Schedule C
- MileIQ integration with Xero to enable businesses to reimburse their employees and contractors.
MileIQ for Xero Advisors
We’re launching an exclusive partner program called MileIQ for Xero Advisors. This program offers Xero Advisors additional benefits like a MileIQ Premium Subscription, discounts to offer clients and unique educational training and sales-enablement materials for clients.
This program is open tax professionals, accountants and bookkeepers who are already Xero Advisors.
MileIQ & Xero Integrations
MileIQ users will soon be able to easily use their mileage-tracking reports with Xero software. Those tracking their mileage taxes will be able to plug directly into Xero +C to more accurately deduct their mileage on their Schedule C reports.
The new integration will also help you if you’re tracking mileage for reimbursements. MileIQ will be integrated with Xero Expenses and bills in Xero to enable businesses to seamlessly track and reimburse their employees and independent contractors for travel-related expenses.

“Integrating with Microsoft’s MileIQ is another example of Xero embracing the gig economy,” said Herman Man, VP of Products and Partnership at Xero, in a press release. “Together, Xero and Microsoft provide a smarter, simpler way for our users to manage their businesses. Now, with the addition of MileIQ, we’re making it easier for independent contractors to reap the benefits of a more simplified accounting process too.”
